Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.
Went today first time for my birthday!! Loved it! Gabby was our server and she was fabulous!! And that handsome guy in hat with reddish hair was sooo cool!! Will definitely be back.. great food!!
For a place that just opened they are a operating at a high level. Service was outstanding. Manager was tremendous as well. Huge addition to downtown Matthews!

Moo & Brew is a frequent local hangout spot with a nice layout, located in a pleasant part of downtown. It offers a varied menu and a good selection of beers. The bison burger with sundried tomato spread, goat cheese, and bacon, as well as the BBQ Chick, have received positive reviews for their flavorful meat and delicious taste. The new location in Matthews features high ceilings, open space, and a beautiful horseshoe bar with lots of TVs, making it a great place to watch sports. Guests can enjoy quality burgers, including the moo melt and the farmer's daughter burger, or build their own using the menu. The jalapeño poppers are off the charts, and cheese curds pair perfectly with the beers. The service is fast, professional, and friendly. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. The atmosphere can be quite loud, especially with live bands playing. It is an awesome place to chill, relax, and enjoy delicious comfort food. The staff comes out to greet, and there is awesome live music and jumbo TVs on the back deck. Burgers were fantastic, and fries were epic.
