Matthews needed another sports bar and Moo and Brew hits the spot. I was surprised by how great the food was and they have a great selection of beer and awesome patio now that it's open. Welcome addition!

Sat at the bar. Ordered lunch and waited more than 30 minutes. Meanwhile several tables seated long after us had been served. When we asked the bartender to check on our food, she was rude and argued with me about other tables being served. We waited another 10 minutes (during which time she never updated us) and left. Disappointed because we’ve eaten at the other location several times and were very much looking forward to having M & B in our backyard. Sadly will not return.

Positive points: Waitress was very nice and attentive. Negative: Burgers just okay. They were messy, falling out of the bun. We also ordered grilled cheese. The cheese was not even fully melted and the bread barely toasted. It was 5pm on a Friday so not crowded at that time. Yet they sit us as close as you can get to the bar right beside a group of people that had actually pulled chairs from the tables up to the bar so they could all squish together and talk. They were a group of 6. Plenty of other places they could have sat us at. Only 3 of us. So loud and noisy not to be crowded, guess it was the music. Even the waitress had to keep asking us to repeat our order because she couldn't even hear. We tipped our waitress well because the food and atmosphere was not her fault.Parking: Restaurant not crowded but no parking available near the entrances.

Overpriced. Food was ok but prices really were terrible for what was served. Sorry folks, better burger at BK. Potato buns are not good choices for burgers- fall apart too easy.

My family went there for dinner last night and had a great time. Great food and an even greater atmosphere. My daughter won a basketball signed by the entire UNC team. We will definitely be back, so glad to have another happening restaurant in Downtown Matthews.
I’ve only sat at the bar (drinks and food) but the service has been impeccable. The bartenders put on a masterclass every time I’ve been. Also I just like the vibe of the place.

I am so thrilled to finally have the Matthews Moo & Brew open! The food is fantastic every single time. I love the bison burger, the black beans, the salmon burger, and the FRIES. my only complaint is that the wine selection is horrible, but I make do. We come here at least twice a week and will keep coming (and hoping for better wine ?)

Edited to add: I spoke with the AGM he was very apologetic and refunded my money. He also gave me 2 chips for my return. I will definitely be giving them another try!I'm not impressed!! Was told my food would be ready 20-25 minutes and when i asked how much longer she told me " I dont know I don't work in the kitchen" 45 minutes later everything was cold, the fries were soggy. Not a very good first impression!

It's honestly the first really good restaurant in downtown Matthews. Burger was great and it was really good for a quick lunch, perfect for kids. It was packed when we tried to go on the weekend so expect 30-1hr wait times. But when we went for lunch we got right in.
