Pros: friendly, small, unique, lot of outdoor seating
Cons: prices are not only absurd but the products aren’t worth what they are asking for either. Several people came in, did tastings, and left empty handed after being ripped off for $40/person on a handful of samples. By comparison, a place like Chemist in Asheville is a small place but the tastings are free, and then I happily spend $10-15 on their signature cocktails and walk away with a few bottles. Spending $100 on a date for 4-5 samples is inexcusable. Cannot go back as it isn’t a justified cost and I don’t buy their bottles for the home bar either.

Beautiful place that you can tell they put the love into just like the alcohol that they do as well. Really loved the Oaklore cocktail or “skinny old fashion”. Awesome service and we brought our dog that absolutely loved the place too! Highly recommend.

Pleasant surprise on a spur of the Moment stop while wife and I where in town. People Friendly and knowledgeable. Bourbons As advertised. Some small batch items Great . I am picky on Gin I recommend it (fever tree Available). Nice selection of drink options including flights. If in Matthews stop in and enjoy. Live music on Saturday starts at six.

Nice place. Small tasting bar. Upstairs and outdoor seating. Good parking. Nice tshirts. Very informative staff. They have live music. They have a beer and wine fridge. We attended the Beer Bourbon and Barbecue festival recently. Oaklore had the best spirits at the event. I recommend their Rye. They distill vodka, rum, gin and rye and bourbon whiskey. What you buy at ABC is large batch. Here it is small batch.

Simply lovely. Max was a wonderful host, and really made the experience one of a kind. As for the spirits, there was something unique about each and every one. I'm much more of a scotch drinker, but I went into the tastings with an open mind. I left with a bottle of the North Carolina Rye Whiskey. The subtle spices in it made me want to sip some more.
