Visited yesterday and everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic about their product. Found the bourbon very smooth and the rye was just the right spicy notes. Lovely area for sampling.
Not only great bourbons and rye, but the owners are friendly, informative, and show you all the love they impart on their craft distillations. Stop in and enjoy small business at it’s best.
Oaklore is the best, most user friendly distillery in the greater Charlotte area. Most visitors will come for their highly-acclaimed bourbon / whiskey and rye, but don’t overlook the potato-heavy vodka. Go for one of their Story Series releases if you want something truly unique and special; I did.
