An unexpected place with one of the best Korean dishes around the Charlotte/Matthew area.

So we went out looking for an original Korean mom and pops and we found it. It’s nothing fancy and its little restaurant is part of a small Korean market However not being Korean at all, I walked in with my family and the service was kind, happy, sincere and warm. My daughter knows two Korean words and she put them to practice and they made her feel like the smartest girl in the world, so sweet. The food is fresh but the seafood is frozen package seafood . Other than that, we’ll be coming back often.

Awesome Spicy Pork Bugogi and cucumber kimchi!!! A hidden gem as you would never think there is a restaurant in inside when driving by only a small Asian grocery store. They also have Gimbap, it is really good to as they make fresh daily and usually gone by 3-4pm.

우거지 갈비탕 많이 맛있어요! My favorite Korean place in Charlotte! I ordered the spicy beef rib soup with Napa cabbage. It was soo good. Simple low profile family restaurant with excellent food and service. It's one of those places you can sit and eat alone and not feel awkward!

The food was very tasty. It was our first time here and we drove very far to try it. We have two young children, one in a stroller, and as soon as we walked in, immediately was told we couldn’t bring in the stroller. So we moved the baby into a high chair. Both highchairs were broken and the baby kept sliding out, so we had to eat our meals with the baby in our laps, trying to grab the food the whole time. That situation ruined the whole experience. Maybe we’ll be back when neither of the kids need strollers but that’s ridiculous and made us feel very unwelcome.

Went there with 3 kids for lunch. After making kids seated, we were required by the waitress to move to another table of the same size bc she might need our table, along with the adjacent table, for bigger party who may or may not come. We rejected but she reiterate with her eyes frowned, seems telling us we can not serve you if you didn’t move. Such a terrible waitress. Didn’t plant to tip her.

The best seafood pancake I’ve ever eaten. Not soggy at all, but crispy and there’s a decent amount of seafood in it.
The kimchi stew is pretty sour, you can’t drink it alone, you need to pair it with rice. The tteokboki isn’t spicy at all, very mild.
