Such a lovely local place with great people and food. I just enjoy coming here and fellowshipping with friends.

Cheese Hamburger served on a soft bun, not toasted or grilled.
Coleslaw over sweetened, too much sugar for me.
Banana pudding made with cool whip and boxed pudding.
First time, don't think we will return.

Counter Lady is RUDE.

Very friendly and fast service, lots of refills, and no rush. If there were bonus points for service, they deserve it. Food is okay, but in fairness, im not easy to impress. Biscuits were outstanding. Coffee is bleh... weak and the cheapest that can be found. Admittedly, it would be hard to compare to the coffee place next door, but there's a a lot of room to improve.

The food was good when it came out but we had to wait about an hour for our food. If it's not busy and you're not in a hurry, this is. Fine place to eat.

This should be America's favorite Diner as it is now my favorite and I don't even live in North Carolina. Quite enjoyed the fried flounder with Hush Puppies scrambled eggs fried bacon and grilled biscuits Lord Jesus I had the culinary holy ghost from that great food and those folksy and kind people it was like dining at a relative's home

I decide to try this out after a walk in the park nearby and was extremely impressed with the quality and service. The staff were extremely friendly and gave great service. Not to mention the prices are completely fair and not crazy expensive. I will absolutely be coming here again

Recently started going here for breakfast. Really reasonable. Full breakfast including coffee for $5.95. Have not tried lunch there.
