I'm Italian and this food was gross. No flavor! Bathrooms were not clean, food was just not good at all without adding all kinds of cheese and salt n pepper..I think my chicken in my fettuccine Alfredo chicken came out of a can! Even the soda taste like toilet water! The server was friendly though that's why the 2 stars!

Showed up at 8:24, Yelp shows open until 10pm. Walked in and the guy at the register said they close at 9 and they weren't doing anymore dine in orders. What a waste of time.

I ordered a pizza here last weekend for the first time and I can honestly say it’s the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure how you could mess up a simple pepperoni and cheese pizza but this pizza had hardly any cheese and was SO salty I could only eat a few bites. I’m really a salt person too so this was surprising. Honestly disappointed and considering the cost was almost $20 for a small, simple pizza. I wouldn’t ever eat here again.
Was exploring Matthews and got hungry, came here on a whim and I am thoroughly impressed. Will make the trip out again.

WOW! The Stromboli is SUPERB! All the ingredients are fresh. Sliced sausage, not from frozen crumbled. Dardan (the cook) is a big intimidating man that treats you like an old friend the minute you walk in. This place is a treasure. If you're in the Mathews, it's a must! I know I'll be back!
