I’ve been reading in the news how Starbucks has fallen from grace but I didn’t quite get it until I ordered two cappuccinos last week.

The people working here are friendly-ish (lets be real, they’d rather be doing something else, I would) but when there’s five people working I shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for my order especially when there’s only a few people that ordered ahead of me.

Meanwhile the other baristas were wrapped up in personal conversations.

After 10 min I saw an employee leave to what appears to be taking a walk in HT. When I asked what was going on, the barista told me that was the manager.

Look, I don’t blame the baristas. They’re under paid and because it’s a Starbys inside HT they don’t get paid as much or get the benefits of working at a proper Starbucks but I do expect my order not to take 15 minutes.

This is a management issue and I’m talking district manager level on up. So order here if you must but know that you might be here a while…

They are super alow . It takes 3 ppl to clean one milk frother . Mind you 6ppl were already waiting about 10-15 mins . They have no sense of urgency and the enthusiasm is at 0 definitely wouldnt recommend. Mind you all that and the drink still wasnt right , If anything go to the one in target on township

We stopped in this shopping center for lunch and coffee before a road trip. It was convenient because there were many food options in the same shopping center. And this Starbucks was nicer than the typical Starbucks inside a grocery store. They had a nice seating area and the service was quick, accurate, and friendly.

Great Starbucks tucked into Harris Teeter with a separate entrance. It’s right off the deli section and flower gallery and includes a lot of spaces to sit and enjoy the coffee or take it to go!

Literally no sense of urgency at all. Shouldn’t take 30mins for a drink when there’s only 5 people waiting and 2 people working. People have places to be in the morning

This location does not accept credit cards for mobile orders. Extremely inconvenient. For some reason, each Starbucks inside Harris Teeter in Matthews is very slow. It is hard to explain what is going on here at this one coffee shop inside Harris Teeter, where 2 people work and I've witnessed huge lines in locations where 5+ workers work at the same time and still very slow regardless. I came at 1:30PM, not a morning rush, and waited over 25 minutes. Coffee was good, the way I ordered and as it took so long I was run late for an appointment. As soon as an order is placed it can not be cancelled. Extremely disappointing with the Starbucks app, it cannot be run for the family anymore. Each spouse must run a separate account for Starbucks, which makes the order process very painful.

Rang up my order wrong so it didn't qualify for the promo I was trying to use than filled the cup w half milk when I wanted mostly black coffee. Could've clarified and chose not to. Was not even busy and still messed up my order
