Took family here last night from out of town. Oddly nobody liked their ice cream—to be fair they wanted another local creamery who closed earlier. The ice cream here was uniquely “off”—I can’t put my finger on it but it didn’t taste like any homemade or creamery-made ice cream I’ve ever had, and that’s not a compliment in this case. Prices were consistent with market but the surprise came with $1 per topping on top of a $4 kiddie scoop. You can imagine not much of any topping can actually be applied to such a small scoop. Other places would take a partial scoop on a spoon and sprinkled whatever you want over top and maybe charge $1 for it all, if that. The Local Scoop charged $1 for each topping and provided far more than is usable in little condiment cups for you to self apply. $3 just for toppings was a premium price for a few sprinkles and the 2 or 3 gummies which could fit on top the scoop. Not a fan. Won’t be back.
Always have such an amazing time here with my family!!!
It is such a cute ice cream shop. We had no idea it was even here and we lived in this area for many years. The ice cream was delicious on a very hot day. When you order toppings they come in a cup with a lid, so really you can get 1 topping for 2 people if you want the same thing. The green grass turf was great for our dog’s paws.
Love that they have dairy-free options! We always bring out of town guests here and it’s a crowd favorite. Great outdoor seating area - parking can be a challenge
I love getting ice cream here normally, however today there was this guy named Sam I think who came storming out of the restaurant trying to fight me! It was unprovoked and rude! Luckily this cashier guy named “Blake” or “Blaze” came to my rescue and calmed the situation. He might have saved my life. 5 stars
Hey again, just wanted to come on here and share another experience I had with Kyle at the local scoop. Recently I lost my dog of 10 years and I went to the scoop to fell better. Kyle was there to comfort me and made me feel extremely welcomed. Definitely come here pronto! ♥️♥️♥️
5/5 Experience, me and my family were in the mood for some ice cream so we headed here and we are not disappointed. The service was ridiculously quick as my kids pointed out a couple times. Employees were nice and everything tasted good! Only gripe is that this “Samuel” guy was being mean to all of the employees and complaining about literally nothing. Not on the business though, would definitely recommend!
Awful experience. Two out of three ice creams were all melted and dripping down the sides of our cups. Wife couldn't even eat the sea salt caramel because it was so bad. Won't be coming back here.
Tried Dutch Chocolate and Coffee Toffee. Coffee toffee was amazing. It had the coffee flavor and the toffee sweetness. The Dutch chocolate was not so sweet and felt more like chocolate powder. If you love chocolate and not a fan of sweetness, you must try this.
This place was filled with families and more like a kids hangout spot on the weekend. The weather was nice as well.
Best, creamiest ice cream in town! Love the coffee toffee the best! Or maybe Cookie Monster. Or…… just awesome.

There was only one employee working, and there was no urgency despite the line being out the door. The person serving today gave half a scoop instead of a full one. It was almost as if they did two spoonfuls, but left a hole in the middle of the ice cream, making it visibly hollow on top of the cone. Spending $6 for such a small amount of ice cream felt disappointing. The other location near 485 provides better service and doesn't cut corners with serving sizes.

The girl working on Saturday night was amazing. She worked super hard and got everything right even when she worked by herself. GREAT JOB!

The butter pecan ice cream was really bland just plain peacans and vanilla. Waste of $4, went to the trash. Workers could not care less.
