Great spot and meal overall in an inviting, intimate and clean restaurant. The miso soup was warm and comforting, the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. The sushi was very good and well presented. The tuna tataki really stood out — perfectly seared, tender, and full of flavor. Looking forward to coming back.

The sushi plate we received was honestly disgusting. All the different types of sushi tasted exactly the same and there was a bitter aftertaste. They were also huge and didn’t look appetizing at all. The only thing I liked was the restaurant’s interior.

This Japanese restaurant definitely offers one of the city’s best bowls when you look for delectable food and pocket friendly. The display of grilled fish collar was exquisite with crisp leafy greens. A delightful contrast of texture paired with fresh fish roes plus noted appetizers shrimp tempura and fried calamari just gave us the right touch of crispy comfort. Spicy Umami Ramen feature thin, chewy Japanese noodles accompanied by delicate broths with nuance and depth. Along with two caramelized pork belly chashu seared on all sides to develop a flavorful crust and delicious ajitsuke tamago. On top of the scrumptious food, the staff are efficient without feeling rushed, relaxed without being slow—spot-on service. Highly recommended and we will be back soon.
