White Duck Taco Shop, Matthews

Got 3 different tacos and only the pork belly taco was any good. The Korean beef was flat out awful (yes I know what it is and have had it before multiple times and enjoy it) and the gyro was disappointing. I hate saying that cuz I’m a taco guy and love local(ish) businesses. This one just ain’t it unfortunately.

Great place to grab what I would call artisan tacos like pork belly and general tso. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We went for lunch.

My first time trying White Duck Taco Shop and I can’t say enough good things. My food was absolutely delicious and there are so many options to choose from. Lots of daily specials. I highly suggest.

Went here with the fam and loved it!
We had wonderfully crafted tacos and amazing churros for dessert! We had the following wonderfully crafted tacos:
Lamb Gyro
Korean Beef Bulgogi
Shrimp and Grits
Buffalo Chicken
General Tso's
Steak and Cheese
Fish
Thai Peanut Chicken
We topped it off with some amazing churros... Yum!
Everything was great and we went away very full and happy, emphasis on full--generous portions!

These tacos!! I’ve been craving some new kind of flavor and this place brought it! I had the chicken blt taco and the steak and cheese. The steak and cheese was my favorite! The staff were so friendly! I would highly recommend it to anyone. I cannot stop thinking about the flavors. This is more than your average boring taco place. It reminds me of a place you would go down by the coast and reminds me of summer! I also came on taco Tuesday and got a taco and drink for only $10! Thank you white duck taco shop for making my week!!!

I’ve been here a handful of times and already have found it crave-worthy. The food combinations are inspired and delicious. Staff is friendly, prices are good, seating options are plentiful inside and out.

Parking: Parking was easy to find. Getting into the lot from the main road was easy, but getting back on to the main road can be difficult due to high car volume.

Terrible service. Nobody greeted us. The woman and teenager working there acted like we were bothering them by ordering dinner. Sterile and unwelcoming atmosphere. Food was decent though.
