Chinese Restaurants near Maysville

“Very pleasantly surprised! We have Never noticed this restaurant before as many times as we have driven through Maysville. We were headed to Greenville from the beach and needed dinner on the way. I was a Friday in Lent so I needed a non meat/ seafood option. The only options were all fast food. Not at the top of my list for seafood. Google showed high ratings so we decided to try it. I was apprehensive given the look of the building. Especially once entering. The building could use some updating for sure. Dine was not allowed at the time of our visit (their current covid policy). Not a problem for us as we planned to take it to go as we continued our travels. Everything was very tasty, Hot, and fresh. Like I said, very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend, though maybe not for dining in until the make updates. The decor may detract from the tastiness of the food. The building looks run down and windows were dirty on the outside. Had A for sanitation grade.“

“Just moved back to the area, so unpacking a house and to tired to cook. Saw this place on Piney Green the other day. Looked them up and saw their ratings ? I read through them and while their ratings were bad there was not a lot of reviews and a few were excellent. So we tried it despite the ratings. We were pleasantly surprised. I called and placed the order for pickup at 18:07. We ordered a pork egg roll, a shrimp egg roll, fried wontons, crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, sesame chicken (came with white rice), sweet and sour pork (came with white rice), pork fried rice, and chicken lo mein. We were hungry and wanted to try a bit of everything LOL. They said it would be about 20 minutes, and it was ready right on the dot! We tried everything but the fried rice, that is tomorrow's lunch ? We liked everything we ate! Was good and hot!! Definitely will get it again! The egg rolls were not our favorites, but that is about our taste (as my husband says, he doesn't like grassy egg rolls lol) - not the cooking. I will update again on our second go around. But we took a chance and were very happy we did!!“
