Nice location because of the water. Beer selection is less craft and more like a grocery store and very overpriced. Inside kind of sterile like a doctor office or megachurch lobby. Good place to park in McAd and walk elsewhere

This tap room supports the River keeper's mission to protect our water resources. After all good beer needs clean water. Friendly folks, nice space some outdoor seating, dogs and kids welcome. Stop in for a pint after exploring the Christmas light, trails or in the warm months kayaking the Southfork.

Get there early and have a few local craft beers as you watch the day fade to night and the town lights come to life.Great patio with view of the lake with Christmas lights. Good chance you will find a food truck there as well.Our new annual tradition for McAdenville during the holidays.

Enjoyed hosting a book club meeting here at The River Room. Very friendly and attentive bartender Anthony, he kept us well supplied with drinks, and took the time to explain different brews that were available. Would definitely recommend this place.

Super cool bar. Always a good selection of beer from breweries in the Catawba river basin and Unique cocktails! I love old cotton mill building and location. ! It’s a non profit which helps keep our rivers clean and healthy. One of my favorites watering holes.
