I was visiting North Carolina for my nieces wedding and was asked to do a low country boil. We called Rick’s and made arrangements to pick up the shrimp.
The shrimp were of a great size and extremely fresh. The owner was a most helpful and friendly person. I would highly recommend this small business to anyone interested in fresh seafood.

Captain Rick's Seafood sets the bar high in customer service and gets a 5-Star rating across the board! Our daughter's wedding weekend was a 3-day event and our bride wanted to have a shrimp boil. We are originally from Baton Rouge, LA and had guests from all over the US and abroad. Several had never seen a shrimp up close, nor to peel & eat!
Ricky is very personable and was quick to neutralize our many questions and concerns. He quickly provided us with 40+ lbs of HUGE fresh coastal shrimp and at a price that was shockingly low! And get this. Ricky sent me a message a few days later to ask how the shrimp boil went! Wow! Southern hospitality and personalized service!
Needless to say, the shrimp boil was a highlight event (except for the actual wedding) and an absolute success! We are still getting raving comments from the bride, groom, families, and guests!

Great Blue Claw Crabs.

This is a great fresh seafood monger and Quail farm.We pulled in and were met with two big smiles and a special treat from Megan ( pronounced Mee-gan ), the owner of Triple Creek Quail.She made delicious Quail scotch eggs and baked quail unseasoned and/or dressed with a mild sauce. The unseasoned was amazing. You could taste the outdoors - a super lean and easy prepped bird. She also sells Quail eggs and honey. All fresh and yummy. What a treat!The purpose of the trip was fresh seafood. The man (feel bad, didn’t get his name) with the smile from Captain Rick’s Seafood ( beach decor and all) helped with knowledge and options on preparation. Megan also works at Rick’s. She too knows everything local Seafood. You should definitely go. If not just to say hi, see what’s on the menu. Buy some Quail, eggs, honey and seafood! Very positive experience!.
