Hursey's Bar-B-Q is a BBQ establishment that serves North Carolina BBQ with a vinegar-based sauce. They have a card fee for debit or credit card payments, so it's better to use cash. The place has friendly staff, a clean lobby, and a great kids menu. The hush puppies are crunchy, the flounder and macaroni and cheese are excellent, and the popcorn shrimp, fries, coleslaw, and baked beans are good. The pulled pork is decent, and the BBQ sauce is sweet. The atmosphere is fast-food-like, and the service is provided by sweet young ladies. Overall, it's a decent place to eat, but nothing to write home about.
