Based on the reviews, Knucklehead BBQ is a top-notch barbecue spot. The brisket is described as out of this world, falling apart and melting in your mouth. Other meats like the pulled pork and sausage are divine. The sides are a highlight, with the baked beans being to die for, and the potato salad, mashed sweet potatoes, greens, and hoppin John all getting high praise. The knucklehead smashed hamburger is also too good, featuring two beef patties, double cheese, onions, and BBQ sauce with tater tots. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is top notch with chill vibes. The family pack is a great option, coming with BBQ slaw and cornbread muffins. A variety of sauces and pickled onions are nice touches. Worth the drive for anyone, and possibly the best barbecue spot in all of North Carolina.
