ordered smoked gouda chkn sandwich, steak quesadillas, side of chips and salsa, Bacon jam burger with chips w side of queso and horchata. the food was delicious! the person that owns the restaurant and has no one to help, so there was a little wait but it was worth it.

For a Mexican restaurant not to have rice and beans as a main staple with their entrees is weird. Who doesn’t sell chimichangas for a Mexican restaurant??
They charge extra for chips and salsa which anywhere else would be standard. We went for their burgers which were very good but with two sweet teas and a $5 tip leaving with a $43 bill, felt that was quite pricey.
Owner and service were great but we won’t be back. Toros Cantina up the road who bought out the old Huey’s Oyster House is way worth the $$$.
EDIT: I changed my review from 1 star to 3. The burgers we had were very good is why I changed it plus nobody deserves 1 star unless the service and food sucked. I still stick to the points I made above about them being expensive and not having a true authentic Mexican cuisine.

Passing thru, 1st time eating here. I ordered a Carolina Burger and it tasted well enough for a 3 star rating.
The burger itself did not lack flavor and was cooked to my liking (medium) but I thought with chili and slaw as a topping the burger would really pop, but there was barely any chili / slaw and for $20 combo I was kinda disappointed. However, I will give them another try next time I am up this way.

Amazing little hole in the wall spot off of a back road. The people are very nice and attentive. Theres no issue of feeling like you dont belong. The menu is small but packed full of flavor and their specials sound amazing. Will be coming back when I am in the area!!
