I've been going to Burritaco since summer of 2024. The food is phenomenal. I'm trying everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. The Angus burgers are huge and delicious. The homemade chips are a must! No fast-food here. The chains can't hold a candle to this place!
BT is a chef-owned business, and Melvin takes great pride in his creations. The "Specials" board are new items that he is trying out.You are missing out if you don't give this place a try.

We’ve eaten here a few times. So far, I’ve tried tacos, burger, seafood sandwich, and California bowl. All are my favorites!! It’s hard to beat the quality of the food and the service. Prices are just a bit higher than other places, but the quality more than justifies the increase. The inside is dark. I believe I would buy one new light a week until I lit that place up and chase away the drab. We do sit outside when the weather is agreeable and the service does not suffer.

We had lunch here on our way to the beach. Definitely looks & feels like a dive. We sat outside and there were only 2 tables, but it was dog friendly. Food & service were great. Staff was attentive & friendly. We had the Baja fish tacos & guacamole burger, our toddler had the cheese quesadilla. A little more “grimy” on the inside than I would have liked, but an overall good experience. Would recommend or come again if we are ever driving through town!

If you're not careful, you might overlook one of the finest tortas in the Triangle. The Terela for the torta was crafted in a perfect oval shape, allowing the al pastor to thoroughly soak the soft, fluffy interior of the bread, which had a firm yet slightly chewy texture. However, I would have appreciated more toppings to enhance the flavors; more pickled onions, and jalapeños for reference.
One note: complimentary chips and salsa are not provided; you'll need to order them separately. The rotating specials are a fantastic touch, bringing in essential traffic to help this establishment thrive.
