Very nice place. Kool decor. I loved the fried chicken. Great crust. They must have some big chicken here North Carolina because I couldn't eat all of it. The waitress was very pleasant and fun and entertaining, I also loved the Gumbo soup. He hear the chef is from New Orleans. Maybe that's why is was sooo good.
Love this restaurant. Has an independent feel (not a chain restaurant). Good customer service, nice environment and ambiance. Food is good too. Just wish they didn't take the cider braised pork off the menu. That was the best meal ever.
The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was super friendly, but messed up our order a couple of times...we ordered oysters as appetizer, they never came out, and it took almost an hour to get our food!! The pork chop was a nice size, had good flavor but could have used a bit more seasoning...too bland. The fried chicken must have been over-marinated because the texture was off....almost powdery.
