I can't say enough good things about Occano/Scotch Hall! We traveled there from Raleigh, NC. The golf course was exceptional (as were some of the views), the inn was spectacular, the food and drink were on point; but, the best part of all was the people!! We had a great experience with our stay at the cottages and the Inn at Occano. We stayed in the Chowan cottages. Very comfortable and convenient for our large crowd. We also had a room at the Inn and it was very nice and comfortable as well. The golf course was fantastic. Best layout in eastern North Carolina. What can you say about hole 17. Rooms at the Inn are beautiful with a large open space in the middle for watching TV, meals and playing cards....located on one of the most breathtaking pieces of property in North Carolina...great Arnold Palmer golf course with views of the Albemarle Sound and great stargazing at night...wonderful get away location, , ,
