Burgers were excellent...so fresh and delicious. Fries were good too. Not bad prices for 4 people. Would recommend!

This place is an absolute hidden gem! We tried their burger and fries, and both were incredible. The fries had the perfect crunch golden, crispy, and piping hot. The burger was juicy and flavorful, definitely a must-try. But what really stood out was the amazing customer service friendly, attentive, and just overall outstanding. Even if the food wasn’t this good (which it totally is!), I’d still give them a high rating just for the service alone. Highly recommend!

Great food. Burgers are awesome and fries are next level. They do a parmesean fries that can't be beat. All seating is outside so take that into consideration.

I want to start out that I have been a frequent customer at Hot Mess Burgers because the food is scrumptious. I love the quirky variety and the explosive combination of flavors with each of the burgers I have enjoyed here. The reason I am leaving a 3 star review is due to an unfortunate interaction I endured today. I placed an order and was given the total. I handed the woman 10 dollars over the total to include a tip since I enjoy the food and service I usually recieve. I was told it was too much and when I insisted she covered the tip jar while removing it from access and abruptly shut the window. This was EXTREMELY disrespectful and unfortunately I will not be returning. I make it a note to tip a minimum of 10 to 20 dollars whenever I recieve service therefore to be disregarded when offering generosity is a slap in the face.

This place is a hidden gem! While driving down 601 we discovered this place and decided to stop in and see what they had to offer! We ended up with a single burger and the fries and they were both delicious. The fries had an exceptional crunch and they were hot!! The customer service was great.. if I didn’t like the food I would have still provided a high rating simply because of the customer service.. it goes a long way when you’re spending your hard earned money!!
Well, here it is, the holy grail of burger perfection. We've passed by this place approximately 793 times and finally decided to give it a try today. I'm happy to report operation Hot Mess Burgers is a success.
My wife got the OMG burger and she absolutely loved it. Personally I got the Big Red burger. I was really blown away not only by the taste of it but also by the presentation and the perfect crispiness of the grilled bread which encapsulated the burger together with its super sweet caramelized onions, crispy onion rings, and parmesean cheese sprinkled on top. It was indeed a masterclass in how to cook and construct the definitive burger.
The only negative I can say about Hot Mess Burgers is that they don't have one close to where we live. But that's okay, because it'll give us something to look forward to on our trips to SC.

If you haven't made it here, then get there! Omgosh, I love this place. I've been going for years. Now, I pass it on my way home from work. I pre-order online and pick it up once a week just to give myself an easy night. ALL 7 people in my house love it! It's a win-win. It's always ready when I get there and they are SUPER nice.
