Great food, awesome owners, nice local diner. Always friendly.Update 2/20/2024. Under new management, same folks that own the Americana in Matthews, food is fantastic, restaurant has been spruced up, I'm so glad that it's back open. The new folks are super nice, dining area is clean. I cannot say enough about the food, country style steak and mashed potatoes, fried squash and green beans, delicious, absolutely delicious.
I have ordered here on DoorDash several times over the last month and the food here is so good, and is also consistent. There are many restaurants where you have to worry about if the food is going to be of the same quality every time, and Bob's surely is. The cheeseburger is good, but my favorite thing is the Alaskan Whitetail!!! The hushpuppies are great and the fries blew my expectations out of the water. It was our first time at Bobs family restaurant & Alaina was our waitress. She was over the top, extremely friendly, helpful & efficient. Very small but homey atmosphere & we will definitely be back!
