“Every time I have gone the food has been amazing except last night I ordered the ribeye cajun style and medium rare. The steak had no flavor. It didn’t even have salt and pepper on it, and it was cooked rare, and it was super fatty. my dad got the chopped sirloin like he always gets and there was not a lot of meat like usual and again no flavor like they didn’t use seasoning this go around. It was super disappointing.“

“My wife and I frequent this spot more than probably any other restaurant. I’ve lived all over the country and this is some of the best, consistent, quality Mexican food we’ve ever had. We can’t find a place within a driving distance to outdo this establishment.

If you want the best service you can ask for, ask to sit in Maritza’s section. She is consistent, she remembers small details & she smiles the whole time that she does it. It’s very clear that she’s an incredibly hard worker.

We’ve been served by everyone there and the service is always great, but Maritza stands out.

“Got fajitas takeout last night. It was great! With the fajitas, you get the fajita meat and grilled vegetables in one container then in another container, you get rice beans and then in like a little shell tortilla shell you get lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole that’s in a different container and then the flower or corn tortillas come rolled up and some aluminum foil and then of course you also get chips and salsa is a whole lot of food. My family was very happy, and we had leftover fajitas the next day. Definitely ordering here again!!“

“Stopped in Wayside for lunch after work today. The service and food were amazing. We also got some really good laughs from the 5 guys sitting at the table next to us. Long story short 3 of them ordered a piece of chocolate pie and the one guys pie was still FROZEN solid. The waitress ended up microwaving it 2 separate times so he could eat it.“

“I’ve only been once and it was a carryout of their hibachi chicken and shrimp.
We ordered +3 yum yum sauce and the cashier made sure to explicitly ask if we wanted 3 sauces total or 3 additional which i really appreciated!
The portion was very nice. It Could’ve easily been two satisfying servings (maybe even three!) but I couldn’t help myself and ate the entire whole thing in one sitting!

“Im not a New Yorker, Italian or tend to lean towards being what I call a pizza snob. This is good pizza. It's better than most I have tried in the Greater Charlotte area. We had a rehearsal dinner there. Pizzas, salad and refills were abundant. We had a great time. I highly recommend this place.“

“Ate lunch here today. The food was awful and the broccoli they served with our sesame chicken was not cooked! I had to ask for a cup of ice and had to return it because there was black specs of trash in it. And there were children in the kitchen coughing. Will never go back.“

“I most enjoy this restaurant. Note that people who enjoy sushi should try this place at least once, but I prefer the hibachi myself. The staff is hardworking, polite, and courteous. I don't eat inside much, but it is set to serve even large groups.“

We are always greeted with smiles and our drink orders are always memorized. We never have to wait long our food.We will continue to support this waffle house as long as the same staff is there.“
