Ordered the hibachi chicken and I loved it! The chicken had a great sear on it, still tender inside, and the veggies weren’t mushy the way they usually are at other places. It comes with fried rice and that white sauce, which I ended up putting on everything. Portion was big enough that I had lunch the next day. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Solid spot.
I LOVE their General Tso’s chicken. I’ve ordered takeout from here a few times, and this was my first time dining in. The chicken was fried perfectly crispy, as always, and the sauce was tangy with a nice kick of spice. This spot is a true hidden gem. You can’t find Chinese food this good anywhere else in Locust. It’s also very kid-friendly, with a relaxed, family-run atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant itself is pretty simple and nothing fancy, but the food more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered was flavorful and satisfying. The family was also so sweet, and their little one was adorable! I always love supporting family-owned local businesses, especially when the food is this good. Definitely a hidden gem and we’ll be back!
