The location is the best thing about this restaurant. Located steps from the action at Tryon International Equestrian Center, this BBQ stand is popular, but for me anticlimactic. I had BBQ pork with Mac-n-cheese & corn bread. The meat was average with two choices of sauce, both of which were red. One was hotter than the other. I went to tryon equestrian center location on Mother's Day and ordered the wings and ribs. I was told they are the best by the counter person. I said I'll be the judge of that. Well, to my surprise the wings were the best I've had since moving to NC. They were meaty and so flavorful. Smoked and then slightly fried with the sauce. I will nodoubt go back and get many more and look forward to trying other meats there.
