Food is nice and the atmosphere is amazing thanks to all the crew from Tryon (the venue is more than amazing).

The service at the blue ginger is BAD. They took at least 15 min only to take the order, +10 for bringing the beverages, + 25 for the food and they never bring the edamame beans (the first thing we order).

Also is weird that they had a bad attitude with us, but they were nice with the riders. Feels weird

This place was amazing.
I'm new to the area, and thought that the equestrian center hosted Saturday Night Lights every weekend. When I came to the restaurant, I found they were actually close to closing. We had 8 people eating in our group, and after asking some questions about hours and the events, they insisted we stay and eat with them. At the time that we came in in comparison to their closing time, this was appreciated beyond words.
The service was amazing. I wish I got the lady's name that helped us, but she was sweet, and very helpful.
The head chef, Rocky, was amazing at what he does. Every dish he prepared for us was astounding. I ordered the Bulgogi, which was off of a unproduced new change menu, and it was phenomenal. The sauce coating the tender moist pieces of bbq was to die for. The meat was served with a dish of rice, which I expected to be bland like most places, but even the rice had a delicious sweet flavor.
The sushi we ordered tasted different than any other place as well. It tasted so fresh. The flavors were different, with the Black Samurai being my favorite so far.
I'm counting the days before I go back.
Having served tables before, and prepared dishes in the kitchen of other restaurants, I appreciate everything this staff did for us Saturday night. You all are amazing, and we will definitely be back.

Never even got in the door. Left our number for the wait list and checked in after the amount of time given. Said it would be 10 min more minutes.. checked in 20 min later still no call. Checked again and said if we wanted to sit we could but they tables were dirty … the most bizarre experience. Never got seated and still to this day never got a call from leaving our number. The most ill managed restaurant ever.

My parents and I waited over 30 minutes for our miso soups only for them to be lukewarm, and my mom’s noodles soaked up most of the broth by the time she got her ramen. My dad and I specifically asked for our soup and sushi to come out together, but by the time our sushi came out our soup was cold. Our two orders of sushi took over 45 minutes to come out.The food was alright (probably great if we got it fresh out of the kitchen or sushi bar), but the service was severely lacking. Be prepared to wait for your food. We were not the only table waiting a long time for our food to come out. My family will not be coming back.

Not impressed at all with the service or the food. They didn’t check in on us in the hour we were there. We ordered 2 sushi rolls that took over 45 minutes to receive and they were fine. But nothing more than that.

There is room for improvement. First off there was a bad impression when you walk it and it doesn't "feel clean"... there are truck stops where you can eat food off the floor that's better than this. The waiter was super nice, he could have been a smidgen more attentive given that there were only 3 tables and then two within 5 minutes of us being there. But it was only his second shift working, so he did great for that. The menus were disgusting. If I'm paying 50+ for 2 people to eat, I expect things to be nice and not feel like i need to wash my hands after, and to top that I had to sit and swat two flies and a gnat the entirety of my meal. In the restaurant name it has noodles, which I wouldn't boast about considering there were only 2 dishes, which were soup (*and we got one that was horrible, I rather have Raman noodles at home... it had a full egg that was only part cooked inside(in the yellow))... I was expecting some sort of noodle dishes... there are sushi rolls, some appetizers, two soups, a couple of salad dishes, and rolls on the back side of menu.... we tried some rolls, very loosely rolled but the veggie roll was alright.. pork dumplings were the best thing about it. As we sat and finished eating what we could, the chef came out and sat with some friends and began cursing up a storm beside us, one table over... this was unprofessional and I couldn't have imagined if my kids were with us. If it was customers they wouldn't be there every time and that's not what brings people back to restaurants but given the situation, he shouldn't have been talking loud enough for us to hear if he wanted to speak that way. I always try to leave an honest review and I like to go back places to see if maybe it was a fluke... I'll try it in a few weeks and see if any improvements/options to the menu and the customer service have improved. I appreciate when people tell me how to improve, so hopefully some positive changes will be made... Another side note which is not the restaurants fault, in TIEC, is signage in general... directions, welcoming, to know there are people there.... kind of like that movie about the Wax people in that town... ? People passing through not here specifically for events or living around wouldn't know it is even here. You think maybe if it was busier there, too then they would have better options at this specific establishment and also have to be held to a higher standard as a whole. I'll update once I go back!
