For an upscale Italian restaurant at the Tryon International facility, I expected more. We went for an early dinner during a busy weekend (horse show, winterfest, etc) and no one was at the door to greet us. Someone finally arrived and we were seated. We were informed the pizza oven was down and the bread would be about an hour before it was ready! No worries, we were looking forward to a relaxing meal amidst the busy schedule of a horse show. We ordered an appetizer and three entrees. The calamari fritti was very good but the entrees not so much. I’ve never had tasteless Italian food before. Not even sure how you do that except forget to season the food (literally tasted like there was no taste in both my mushroom risotto and my husbands Penne ala vodka). The chicken Marsala was a breaded and fried chicken breast with no sauce on it (what!?!). I asked for sauce and was brought a side dish of a thin light sauce that was very watery and had very little flavor. No parmesan on anything or offered. For a $100+ meal it was a huge disappointment.

Went there during the early Scruggs festival. They were way understaffed- which is weird as you know there’s a festival going on, right? The servers were trying but they were really backed up, and there wasn’t even that many people in there - 25% of seats at best. Food is ok but nothing special. They have a lot of stuff on one side that looks like construction stuff. Funny that I swear al that stuff was there the prior year when we went for the same festival. I’ll take bets that it’ll still be there next year.

Checked to make sure they would be open on a Sunday night, arrived at 820pm and all the doors were locked, people inside but no one would come to the door.
They had the best gluten-free Manicotti we have ever found.

From the moment we walked in Campagna we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented.
A special shoutout to the manager, Nikki, who made our experience even more enjoyable with her attentive service and friendly demeanor.
Overall, Campagna Italian Restaurant is a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I'm still looking for Italian cuisine that is close to those I had while living in the NYC suburbs. The food here was very good. But, what made the dining a five star was the attention given to us by Nikki. We could not have asked for a better dining experience.

Lacey @ Campagnas is AMAZING! We have never had a bad experience in all of the years. Service is fast & order is always right. We appreciate all that she does & make it a priority to sit at the bar to have her as our waitress.

My party of four was extremely dissatisfied. The food was flavorless and not fresh. The chicken was rubbery and tasted precooked. The shrimp stunk. The marinara sauce tasted canned. The atmosphere and service left much to be desired as well. Unfortunately, this was an all-around overpriced, terrible experience that we won’t be repeating.

This was the second time I been there. The food was outstanding. Very nice staff. But there was one person the stood out to me. . I ask for name. It was a lady named NIKKI. WOW. Very nice person. I sat at the bar for dinner & my 2 drink limit. She was alway asking me. if everything was good & if I needed anything. But it was not only me. She was asking everyone at the bar. Greeting diners come and going. Going back & forth. It was amazing. It was great pleasure to meet this lovely lady. She is a great asset to that establishment. I wish there were more like her. Keep up the good work NIKKE. I WILL BE BACK TO VISIT. THANK YOU.

Love this place! The Caesar salad is amazing. Sit at the bar so that you meet Lacey. She is truly one of the best bartenders I have ever met. Makes great drinks, and weather you’re having a good day or a bad day, she’ll make it better. Nikki, the manager is also awesome. The whole staff here is so nice.

We're locals, so we eat here frequently. Wood-fired oven pizzas are always the bomb, even for take out. Nikki & her staff are always on top of things with great service!
