We normally love Bold Rock, but tonight was a bad one. Came for the cheesecake and cider sampler. My wife is highly allergic to pineapple, when she asked to swap the pineapple cider for a regular one on the flight for health reasons, the male bartender was ok with it, but the purge female bartender wouldn't let him. Saying no substitutes, get over it.
I'm sorry, but I don't want my wife to go into anaphylaxis shock.
Seriously, what is the big deal to swap with one cider for allergies?
Dietary restrictions: Worker refused to allow a substitute for allergy concerns.

“House side salad” aka greens only, don’t waste your money. Employees were rude

Awesome, love the constantly changing ciders based on time of year. Never a long wait either with plenty of seating.
My only complaint is some of the bar staff can have zero personality or be outright rude which is very off putting. Other than the interactions with them, 5 stars.

this is one of the spots i frequent in the area, more so than any of the other breweries or cideries. the food always slaps, the staff is always amazing, the place is nice and clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for any weather or event. mike, the site manager, very obviously cares about the staff and customers. i have so many friends from l.a. that routinely ask to go when they’re in town. forever a simp for this spot ?

Solid 3 but I really like the patio on a cooler October evening with the wonderful sunset over the hills!
Food is good really for a greasy truck cuisine! lol. The 5 dollar wings was great on a Wednesday!
Drafts and Ciders are a bit expensive so just sip away. And burn a hold in your wallet to get a buzz.

We held our wedding welcome party at Bold Rock on their covered porch area a few weeks ago and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your event— Heagan (the taproom manager) was so great to work with & really went above and beyond to make our event go smoothly. We were allowed to decorate in advance of the party and the staff were so helpful all evening. The Bold Rock chef created a special BBQ menu we had requested, complete with dietary restrictions (even vegan and gluten free options), and wow, this was some incredible food! People were raving about it (especially that potato salad-yum!) We also lucked out to have a live band playing the night of our party which was so wonderful as well- the sound was a perfect volume from where our event was to the stage. We definitely see ourselves coming back in the future to visit this gem of a place & we are so grateful to have found them for our welcome party!
We are also so heartbroken to see the devastation that Hurricane Helene caused to this area shortly after our wedding - we are thinking of all who are in Asheville and surrounding areas and hoping for them to recover quickly <3 This community is so special to us and we hope all will support them as they rebuild.

This cidery was close and convenient but the experience wasn’t the best. The bartending staff were friendly and helpful. The staff members outside mingling instead of working were much less so. She did not have good manners or much interest in providing a good experience for guests. I would have left this place much more content with my closed container slushie rather than wasting 16$ and having a bad taste in my mouth from the lack of etiquette from staff members. Might order online. Will not return to location.

Easily accessible from town. Scenic views, really good cider! Some staff were not very knowledgeable, professional, or accommodating. A more thorough understanding of laws and regulations would really help the staff to provide a good experience for travelers who are there to spend time and money. Sadly, this wasn’t the experience we got. Instead, we are mourning the slushies due to the ignorance and poor etiquette of a particular employee. Unfortunately will not return.

The place is gorgeous but watch out for prices. Went last Saturday with my wife and 2 cider and a small box of French fries was $30. My fault for not checking prices before ordering...

I've probably reviewed before. But I don't see that review. So: best place in town. Cider-wise. Plus food n music n atmosphere are great. We're from Aiken SC and come to Hendersonville several times a year if, for no other reason, than to come here.
