What an amazing atmosphere! Whether you're stopping by for a coffee or treating yourself to a great glass of wine, this place has it all. Max and John are incredibly welcoming and deliver outstanding customer service — they truly make you feel right at home.

I had the best espresso martini I've had in years — perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I enjoying coming here as a break from life and to relax. We always take our two kids and they have a blast. My daughter calls John her best friend. They have away of always finding something you will like. I am not a wine person by far but they were able to find something I liked and their coffee is AMAZING!!!

This is one of the best casual watering- holes in town. Super chill atmosphere, GREAT patio, comfortable and well spaced seating not to mention an extensive & diverse beverage menu. I'm looking forward to this as a welcome diversion anytime I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! Amazing atmosphere inside, and the patio will be perfect in the summer!

They have multiple sommeliers that really know the wine they are serving and even if you don’t think you’re a wine person you will be!

They also have a nice selection of beer, seltzers and ciders that change frequently.

The different food trucks they’ve brought in are 10/10, I also recommend trying a chocolate bomb or tiramisu!!

Absolutely love this place! My fiancé and I have become regulars, reasons incoming!
It’s the perfect place for a pre/post date drink.
The people, bartenders, and owners are incredible!
It’s a great meeting spot for us to bring family or friends to catch up and have a brew or glass of wine.
They have sommeliers on staff that are super kind when you’re new to wine, and wildly knowledgeable.
The 14 draft brews are constantly rotating so you can try tons of local beers. Everything from lagers, sours and IPAs to stouts!
The wine selection is crazy, John knows what he’s doing.
The coffee, they act like they don’t know what they’re doing… but it’s the best coffee you’ll have around here!
Finally, the community this place has fostered is welcoming and a great group!

Wonderful new bar in Mills River. This was originally a filling station (hence the name) that was last an antique store and has recently been renovated into a trendy, spacious, relaxing beer wine and coffee bar. Their beer and wine menu rotates, and is wonderfully and thoughtfully curated with a variety of classics as well as things you may have never heard of. There are food trucks here on most evenings with good options.

The owners are wonderful, warm and inviting, and the other staff are really engaging and knowledgeable about their selections. You can walk in with a slight idea of what you want in a wine and they will help you find the one that is just right for you. They do free wine tastings every third Thursday of the month and have other fun events and themes throughout the week.

I think this is a great space to work (they have wall outlets for your laptop thoughtfully placed throughout the bar!!!), relax and read a book, catch up with friends, celebrate an occasion (they have a back room I think you can rent out), or just kill time while you sort out what to do with the rest of your day (as we’re are doing now 😜).
