The stromboli is awesome, I get one almost once a week!
Everyone is very friendly, great food, and the atmosphere is glowing. Don’t forget to get a banana split!
Amazing food, excellent staff. Amazing customer service. If your heading down to the lake aunt millies is a MUST!
Great pizza and salad bar.
Buffet pizza and salad. The pizza was great!
Classic place to get a very cheesy pizza after a long day of watching racing at VIR!
It was good
I like Aunt Millie’s generally, but it can be hit or miss, and the last 4-5 times have been a miss for me. I used to go often but I just got tired of some of the defensiveness / less than ‘the customer is generally right’ hospitality the staff can have. That being said, I would recommend their banana split to anyone. Their pizza is pretty great too after I learned to ask for half or less than half of the cheese. Otherwise everything else is just ok. I’m not a big sub person because I’m very picky about them so I can’t recommend them although my husband will get them sometimes. I hope they fixed their belt in the oven, it put off a gross smell that no one addressed. I mentioned it to the cashier (whom I had to also ask for the check and then comes the huffiness of why I didn’t get it from the server who was busy and hadn’t come by in 5 minutes), but I’m a shy person and trying to manage leaving the table while my kids stayed with the gross smell. It’s a good place to try, but not a staple for me as a local unfortunately. Also, be careful in the parking lot nearby or you’ll bottom out leaving. I always go back through the post office section.
Kid-friendliness: It’s ok

Edit from their response: like everything in this county there is no responsibility taken for the piss poor action of the employees or ownership. The take away was that you do not treat people by telling them to just get out. Your business could have handed it differently and refused to acknowledge where you could have done better. Some old lady got up from some family dinner, i guess this is their home too? Kicked me out for having a soda in my hand while picking up a order. Been a loyal customer for a year. Gave my wife some bull crap ALE excus. But could have politely asked me to wait outside while they brough us our order. But was told: “you and whatever that is, has to leave”. Kick rocks lady.
Got home $10.50 “kitchen sink” sub was barely six inches and was tiny with almost no meat as advertised. Bare minimum effort. Just found out that after i came back in to say I reviewed her for her actions, she exclaimed a bunch to my wife “oh well then! Whatever!”

Good thing when I walked in the service was great. Food was excellent. The cashier on the other hand not very nice. She is like move you are blocking people's way but there is really not a whole lot of room. When people passed we kindly moved with no problems. She asked are you leaving a tip on the card. First of all never ask for a tip. If people are satisfied they will tip kindly without asking them. Of course I left a cash tip on the table which is nicer than leaving a card tip. I had the pizza bar which required no serving but a drink but I left a handsome tip anyway. Please have the cashier keep her tip talking to herself. It is a great place. Just say was everything great? Thank you and have a great day. People will not return because of tip talk. You have to work for it not ask for it. Just saying. In response to the owner. You miss understand. If you must ask like you said in your own words. Would you like to add the tip to your car. Not, are you adding a tip to your card. I am not wrong. Just say was everything great and did you enjoy everything. If you would like to add a tip to your card our server's would love that. You have a great thing going on. Your food is excellent. The atmosphere you can't beat. Just think how much more money you can haul in for a little cashier kindness. Remember the cashier is the last to make sure experiences for customers were great. Just constructive criticism. You have a great establishment. I recommend to anyone.

Went because my friend wanted ice cream. We talked him into getting the banana split, which is 9 whole scoops. What ensued was a 45 minute escapade of the staff cheering him on while also being some of the most laid back workers I've ever seen. Fantastic place. The puke afterwards was worth it.
