If you crave THE BEST home cooked country cooking done like Mama woulda done it? Look no further! Fried chicken, meatloaf, the creamiest mashed potatoes, peach cobbler……..and the cheesiest, saucy, mac & cheese I’ve ever had anywhere. If you knew how much Mac & Cheese I eat! That’s like winning the Oscar of Mac & Cheese. DO NOT miss the charming quaint piece of southern culture when you’re in this area.
You’re walking around this little town of 159 people and come across this street with quaint shops and food. You’re starving and desire a good ole home-cooked meal. Your eye catches this sign: Milltown Eatery & Saloon. You walk in and get greeted by a local crowd and Alex and Anthony, the co-owners. I had the pleasure of dining here as part of a large group all week for both lunch and dinner, and every meal was fantastic! The food was consistently fresh, delicious, and well-prepared, with a great variety. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure everything ran smoothly.
