so sad. I have loved their ice cream. Over the years the portions have gotten sooooooo small. You pay for a single scoop that is not even half a scoop. Won’t be coming back.

My husband and I went for a special treat. He ordered turtle, and I ordered coffee mocha. Both were the exact same color and flavor... just plain chocolate. We went back up to the counter to confirm that they got our orders correct. They insisted that his was turtle and that mine was coffee mocha. We will not be returning.

Used to be able to go inside to browse and pick ice cream choice. Now the store is locked down, 1 person inside working, order and receive items through window. Nostalgia is gone. Probably won't go back.

I was thrilled when I saw they had ginger ice cream! It was subtle but still so tasty! The strawberry cheesecake was really fresh, it went well with the ginger. Service was good, they only have a walk up window and no samples. They did a great job speaking on popular flavors and any questions you had!

This was my second trip to Carolina Creamery while visiting friends in Mint Hill. I believe this is under new ownership since my last visit there. I didn’t realize it but if you use your credit card, they charge you a 3+% service fee. If I had known I would have used cash! I only noticed the sign on the window after we paid because they slide the window open while serving you, so it’s not easy to read. They didn’t give me my credit card slip to sign, so there was no extra tip for them!!! I’m not even sure they ever said “thank you” to my party of 5! My daughter ordered a small and I noticed while scooping they put it in a cup the next size up and instead of just giving it to her they dumped it and re-scooped. Any other place would have just given it to her. We will not be back.

Very good! The ice cream was perfect and all the flavors are good! I personally recommend smurf or cookie dough.
We ordered through the window which was very convenient, but the most important part was how delicious the ice cream was ! Definitely coming again!
