I was really excited to try it because it looked so delicious in the photos online. However, when it arrived, it was far too oily and sour for my taste. I couldn't even eat it. To make things worse, it was more expensive than I expected. I spent almost $70.00 for only two orders.. Just thought I should share this before people decide to order from there.

I wanted to try some korean food in the area and this was a good choice. Every weekday they have a lunch special going on and it is totally worth it for the price.

Stopped by for the first time the other night and loved it! The bulgogi beef and the dumplings were amazing, and the service was great. We will definitely be returning.

Dae Bak was incredible! We ordered jjajangmyeon and jeyuk bokkeum, and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The banchan were also excellent, and our kimchi was very fresh. We’ll be back!Parking: The parking lot serves a strip mall and a Planet Fitness, so there were no problems finding a space!

This place is good! But if you’re paying $25-$30 for an entree, I’d expect an appropriate amount of rice. The container wasn’t even packed down. It’s a half cup of rice.

This was our 1st time to Daebak. We were the last customer before they closed for the night. Restaurant was busy and service was good. Food was delicious! We’ll come back.Returned after new ownership. Disappointed that the food become more Americanized. Started off with the Korean pancakes. They used rings to pour the batter in and it arrived as hockey pucks rather than thin pancakes.I ordered the bimbimbap with chicken thinking it would be healthier than the beef. The chicken had been deep fried a couple of times making the dish greasy. The sauce for the bimbimbap was sweeter than traditional sauce.Disappointed by the change in restaurant ownership. I really looked forward to having a similar experience as the 1st visit. The waitress was kind and listened to our comments. She wrote down another Korean restaurant we should try.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.Parking: Shopping plaza parking. No issue with parking.

Another excellent dinner at Daebak! I ordered the Bibimbap and it was so, so delicious! The banchan were also delicious. Service is prompt and attentive. A great place for Korean food. I think it's THE BEST in the Charlotte area!

I use to stop by often but since the switch to new owners the food has gone down while the price has gone up. I usually order spicy squid but this version was so bland I didn't even eat it after the first bites. The wings were bland n burnt. Even the sides were bland. Today was the first time I ever had such bland korean food. To spend $92 on lunch and I still had to get food at a restaurant nearby bc I was hungry. We didn't send the food back as they came n told us the kitchen was closed. The employees then all rushed out to eat too so we left hungry.

Love the food before new ownership, not so sure of the authenticity anymore. The prices have increased ridiculously.

I’ve been going to Daebak for over a year now and they have completely ruined their restaurant. Im not sure if it was just a remodel or if they sold the place to someone else, but this is not the same. The food was bland, the kimchi was horrible, the service was subpar, and it is extremely overpriced now. Tell me why I would rather buy store bought kimchi than their kimchi that is supposedly made by hand? (but tasted old and flavorless). For the ridiculous prices we are paying now, the food should be phenomenal every time. Also, please coach your staff on better customer service and remembering orders correctly. I hope these owners see all the negative reviews they’ve gotten lately and make a change for the better. That’s what loyal customers deserve.

Today was our second time. Everything we tried so far was good and the portion as well. The owner was very nice and welcoming. This going to be our favorite Korean restaurant in NC.
