I hate giving such poor reviews but this place was the epitome of poor service and organization.- tables were tiny so any more than 4 people in your party and you will be uncomfortable- repeatably asked for coffee refills and got none. Even brought my 4 year old up for a chocolate milk refill and the women behind the counter told me to wait a minute then preceded to wait on other customers and just ignored me.- the bathrooms were HORRIBLE and disgusting. They store the baby high chairs in the women’s bathroom too.- finally, our food literally never came after close to an hour. We saw other customers come in and get their food in half the time. So we just left. It seemed like they prioritized regulars or something like that.Overall, we were just couldn’t believe that this place couldn’t handle 8 tables and a dozen counter seats. Something’s gotta change there as it was a super disappointing experience. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

You know it just depends on the day, the, cook, & the server. Sometimes it's great sometimes not. Hoping for more consistency as the new owner settles in. As well as continued cleaning & upgrading. Jamie, our favorite server, always friendly & quick with a refill of our drinks & making sure our order is just how we like it!

Herd about this place for years, finally got to try it and was not disappointed. Great customer service. Definitely a local old time diner feel. Food was good, portions were large. They have homemade bread that is definitely a must try.

This place is everything I want in my breakfast dining experience. All the employees in this place seem genuinely happy to be there, happy to see their regulars and in combination with exceptional food this creates an environment within the establishment that’s hard to beat. Try the homemade bread! Get the sausage links! They made me perfectly poached eggs and the hash was very good. Thanks for the great service, Jamie & team!! We will be back to give lunch a try soon!

I came for breakfast today and waited 10 minutes for my waitress to greet me. She asked me for my drink order and took forever to come back with my drink…. She was finally “able” to take my order and the whole time she seemed super fidgety. Short girl, with the long brown hair. I’m not sure her name but by that point I didn’t even care to know. The food was great, my waitress not so much. I REFUSE to come back to this place if she continues to work here. I will also let everyone I know to be cautious when coming here. The new owner is awesome. Some familiar faces I’ve seen since being under new ownership and I’m glad they chose to stay but I can’t continue eating here when there’s someone who only seems to want my money and isn’t interested in giving decent customer service.

We have been coming here for a while. I do think that the previous owners needed to do some upgrades and maybe some deep cleaning but over all...the place was so friendly and welcoming. It made the mediocre diner food pleasant to consume because you know you were treated with kindness and you can count on almost ever person working to greet you or say hi even if you aren't a regular. Now, not so much. Although bright and cleaner, the waitress with the blonde straight hair wasn't really welcoming. Friendly voice with out the smile told me she was just putting on her customer service voice. I could hear what might be "family" arguments near the dish washer(I was seating towards the entrance). The food was okay in flavor. I ordered a California burrito Togo and asked for extra salsa on the side and got NONE. Not even napkins.I also dined in, with my order came a fresh sliced bread which came after I was almost finished with my food and it was stale and very dehydrated from sitting on a heating element with zero butter. But over all....honestly..our waitress just wasn't very warm.... There was even an old man that asked her why she never smiles...Trust me a smile goes a long way for someone... If your going to fake your customer service voice...at least fake a smile sweetheart.

Great breakfast spot! It’s popular so sometimes there’s a short wait. It’s worth the wait.

With the new owners this place has gone down Hill. Last two times i visited was terrible. Slow service, loud mouth lady making fun of what people are ordering. Sucks to see a great place get run to the ground. Won't be back.

It's all in the name, Happy's Grill! Everyone in the entire building is so kind & genuine. This is the kind of place where you feel at home and they treat you like family. I always get the farmers' omelet with crispy hashbrowns & an english muffin.

I started a new job nearby and I happened to be standing in the parking lot outside of this place one morning. As I was waiting, I noticed a steady stream of people going in and out smiling, with breakfast in hand as they appeared to be heading off to their day jobs. The location is a hidden "hole in the wall" kind of place and there are no flashy signs or fanfare letting people know that it even exists. You can usually tell a lot about a place based on the foot traffic - this place was jumping! I had to check it out for myself and I'm glad I did! The breakfast was out of this world! So many choices it was almost a bit overwhelming! I settled on the Farmer's omelette with grits and English muffin on the side and if course, coffee! The staff is extremely friendly, efficient, and professional. They had my order cooked and in front of me within minutes! Outstanding! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. It's a great alternative to the hum drum fast food fare nearby. I can't wait for the next chance to go back so I can try the greatest southern delicacy imaginable - livermush!
