I can’t understand what’s happened to this place over the last few years. I keep thinking I will give it one more try and I always regret it, afterwards! Sweet and Sour sauce, completely different taste than their usual, the Sesame chicken was terrible, the Chicken was barely warm (if that) and the broccoli not cooked AT ALL! The Lo Mein noodles, over cooked and falling apart! The Crab Rangoon seemed like it wasn’t even fried this go around, seemed like it was cooked previously and warmed up. This was such a disappointment. The absolute only thing that wasn’t bad was the egg rolls. And why is the front of the restaurant where customers normally would sit at the tables, strewn with boxes open, and a complete mess. This was really a huge disappointment and we loved Hop Feng when it must have had different owners pre-COVID. Loved it back then, and they were very nice people who smiled and welcomed you when you walked in. What a shame.

Very decent food, very consistent quality. Store not really set up for dine-in, thus my low atmosphere score. I always get the house Lo Mein, quart size (L). It tastes even better cold the next day.

Excellent cuisine at reasonable prices. Not where you want to have a seat and have a meal. This is a nice spot to go if you're seeking for Asian food that isn't really authentic. This is not a criticism because the establishment satisfies its goal, the cuisine is excellent, and it is clean. This place meets all the expectations I had for a Chinese takeout restaurant, which is why I gave it a high rating.

Food is decent BUT if you order online we do not get our food with simple instructions left. Like no onions! I am highly allergic but the last two times they screwed our orders up. Don’t think we will be ordering again. It’s also more expensive if you order through website. Also don’t like that the menu doesn’t tell you what is included in dishes. Such as the vegetable fried rice. Besides being loaded with onions, I can’t eat mushrooms either. Unless you call & ask, you don’t know what you’re getting. So basically don’t $40 for two combination dinners & an extra egg roll. Surprisingly my husband loves the beef & cheese egg rolls. He just wishes they either had no onion or they were chopped into very small pieces. Instead they are long & stringy so he picks them out. Not worth it. It’s still overpriced for the quality.

I ordered 3 combination meals (boneless rib with shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour with lo mein, and sesame chicken with chicken lo mein). sesame chicken-9.5/10, chicken lo mein- 8/10. sesame chicken was really good, really large portion of chicken. supper filling. boneless rib- ribs were a 7/10, shrimp lo mein was a 9/10. although i really enjoyed the meal, and it filled me up like a balloon with summer air, i was quite disappointed when it was brought to my attention that the fortune cookie contained zero fortune, and now i feel like the most unlucky man in the world.
