They changed the menu and the food is horrible now. Very sad. We loved the original menu and came regularly. The new menu has more items, but the quality and taste has fallen drastically. Very disappointed. We won’t be back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had no expectations as we just happened to drive by. Let me tell you, good fortune for us. It was a Tuesday, and their drink special was $10 cocktails. I got the Blackberry Bees Knees, and it really was the bees knees! Delicious! My bf had a beer flight of their craft beers. They were really good! I almost didn't let him drink his own flight. Then lunch arrived. It's Dominican inspired Caribbean food- I made that description up based on the backstory on the menu. Mom ordered a Cuban sandwich. She said it's the best she's had since we moved from Florida 20+ years ago. BF ordered the empanadas. Only downside was that we should have ordered 2 plates of the empanadas! BUT, what I ordered was best: Canal de la Mona - copied the menu description for you: Caramelized sweet plantain, tender pulled pork, and rich Manchego cheese, harmoniously melted together inspired by Dominican and Puerto Rican flavors.
Basically, Heaven on a plate.
Most of the menu items are tapas style, small portions, other than sandwiches, so plan accordingly.
I can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items...like the jerk chicken wings.
Anyway, try it. You won't regret it!

Excellent from start to finish. Sat at the bar one of the owners noticed we hadn’t been served since it was real busy. He quickly came over and greeted us and gave us a run down of the menu. We had the arepas with pork and beef and the sweet plantain stuffed with pork. Dishes were fresh, tasty, perfectly seasoned and made as if they were eating them themselves. Their beers were better than any downtown Charlotte brewery we have been to. A+ give these guys a try I see great things for them long term. Get the live music and events going we will definitely bring our friends.

Absolutely loved Panzu Brewery in Mint Hill. They have an amazing indoor and outdoor space. They have a lot of different beer options, as well as a very good sized cocktail list. They also had a water station inside. My favorite part was the food! Holy moly everything was delicious. I wish I was able to eat more! We had the Chimi Sandwich- Our take on this Dominican street food staple, Chorizo-Beef patty with coleslaw, bacon and cheese- Served with a side of yucca or sweet potato fries. Pair with one sauce of your choice. That was $15. We also had the Las Mariposas- Chicken Croquettes + Fried cheese + Yucca ball stuffed with cheese. That was $14. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very fresh and crispy and had such great taste. Best part of everything with the homemade sauces. Oh my God!! The creamy habanero, bacon jam might’ve been one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life! The service was also spectacular! Will definitely go back!!

Ate here on a Wednesday evening. It was not too busy. The food was good. I did love the sweet plantains with pork and more. Very original and very good. Service was slow but the waiter was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained the wing flavors perfectly as it pertains to spice level.

We stumbled across this place after a visitation at a nearby funeral home...and WOW! I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this place was awesome! The empanadas were probably the best I've ever had. Well done Panzu! I'll definitely make a drive back in the near future.

Excellent place with very high quality crevenza and its food is great and the establishment in the middle of the heart of Mint hills is not worth mentioning, because in itself it says it all. Its staff is very friendly. 100% recommended.

We have just discovered this place and it has quickly become a favorite. The food is EXCELLENT and the beers, brewed on location, are delicious. We both love the Dreaming of Santiago and we rarely agree on beer!! This is a once a week at least visit for us. Some of the freshest guacamole ever!!! ?
