Tell them your spice tolerance but challenge yourself. Some places hide bland flavor behind hot spice; Panzu does not.

I used to come to panzu weekly. Absolutely amazing food. The reason for my 1 star review is service. Dating back to at least April of this year thru today the service has declined. Multiple times I’ve had to go to the counter to order food or beer while 3-4 servers are on their phones. This isn’t a one off at least the past 3 times I’ve been I’ve said I’m never coming back due to wait time and have left once. If it was busy I understand but it’s not. I’m a lover of supporting mint hill small business I frequent them and love the small town vibes. I want to love panzu but each and every time I’ve left since April I’ve asked myself why did I come back. I’m not the only one, tonight I watched other groups do as I did and one group leave.

I had a really disappointing experience at Panzu Brewing. The service was incredibly slow — one plate at our table didn’t arrive until about 15 minutes after everyone else’s food, which made the whole meal awkward. The servers were inattentive and unprofessional.
When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told she was “changing her clothes.” Ten minutes later, still no manager. Eventually, I was told I could just call her instead of her coming to the table. To top it off, one of the servers chastised me for being “rude,” when in reality I was simply being direct about my concerns.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Poor service, lack of accountability, and zero management presence. I won’t be coming back and can’t recommend this place.

Great experience! Food was fantastic and Abby made great drink recommendations. They even brought fresh ice water for our German shepherd. Everyone was well taken care of and we loved the atmosphere and vibe!

Everything was sooo good! I had mocktails and the flavors were amazing! We also had the fiesta nachos with chicken, jerk wings, sweet chili wings, chicken empanada, beef plantain and cheese empanada, and panzú burger. We couldnt stop ordering because everything was so good. The service is friendly and consistent. Definitely adding to my list of favorite restaurants to visit!
