Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!

Oh man, I hope Mint Hill's first brewery is here to stay FOREVER!!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! The food there is delicious, we tried the jerk chicken wings and arroz con pollo. The beer is amazing, you gotta get that pint of sunshine...FIRE! The atmosphere is light and fresh, they have both outdoor and indoor seating. A nice bar area and beer board. And best of all a 5 min drive from where we live. The service was great as well. We will be regulars for sure.

Panzu is one of my new favorite spots in Mint Hill. For an area that has mainly classic bar and grill type of spots, this Dominican/Carribean fusion is a great switch up! The arroz con pollo is served for lunch only and very tasty. Smothered in manchego cheese sauce and sprinkled with paprika, and a sliced avocado on top I can confidently say this was a 10/10. Staff is very welcoming and pretty quick as well. I l noticed they have been hosting salsa and bachata lessons and night which I will most definitely have to check out soon!

Nice new craft beer brewery. Beers are tasty brews, some better than others but all good. Food menu is different than you would usually find at a brewery. Caribbean themed, tasted 2 dishes that were nice, will return to try more. Friendly staff. Good amount of seating inside plus some out on deck. Parking is limited on site, try the commercial area parking short walk.

The sanchoco soup which is a dominican tradition. It was dried up hardly any liquid. It lack the meat ingredients. The soup probably was a week old. Cannot explain how the chef let that come out of the kitchen. When we complained they just brought out more meat, but the soup was still like a paste and the ingredients tasted old.

Food was pretty good, except for the Sancocho soup which was pretty bad. Trust me , my wife is dominican. Service is good. What perplexes me is the live music is english, when it should be spanish. You want to stick to your roots and individually thats what makes Panzu different. It is from the carribean, i dont want to feel like i am in hickory tavern.

I'm not going to lie, any time a new brewery opens I tend to go in with low expectations just because there are so many around Charlotte. We waited to visit until they had a selection of their own beer and I'm glad we did. The Hefeweizen was the group favorite, the IPAs didn't blow anyone away, and I enjoyed the blonde. We went on a Thursday night and grabbed a table easily. Our server and the bartender were super nice and friendly. We ordered quite a few things off the menu and man, I was blown away by the food. Things we ordered: Canal de la Mona - hands down best thing we ate. Incredible, five stars, can't wait to eat again Arepa- very good, best arepa I've ever had? Maybe not but the chicken was good and I liked the sauce Las Mariposas- the yucca ball was my favorite. The street corn coquette had a mushy inside I didn't love and the fried cheese was just okay. Wings- plenty of them, I thought the jerk had a kick but I'm a wimp Empanadas- our friends ordered these but they looked good

Great food, well presented, and great locally brewed beer, as well as a full bar of other options. Server was quite attentive for lunch yesterday, and the place is very well designed and clean. The bathrooms are one-headers, but labeled "men" or "women", which could create a backup on busy weekend nights, logistically, but that's minor. If one can't hold their bladder, they shouldn't be drinking beer (LOL). The updated touch-less bath fixtures were a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless. Sanitation grade was also in the high 90s, which is always nice in this day and age.

Hopefully they can figure out the kinks. The prices are a bit steep for the location. I suggest maybe revamping the menu to fit all budgets. It should cost $10 for a small basket of yuca fries when I could go 10 mins away in East Charlotte to get the same plate for $5

Stopped in for a beer to check it out. First, parking is limited behind the building. Inside decent sized bar but all seats were taken. Not too many tables, seemed first come first serve. We sat outside, several picnic tables but it was chilly and even though they had heaters they were not on. Bartenders were friendly enough and they had a basic selection of their own beers but most priced higher than expected. The menu is very eclectic. We didn't try any food, but it would have been hard to find something we liked since the menu was very different. May stop back again and give it another shot!

Stopped by tonight for my 2nd time and oh lawd this place just hit a grand slam again. Tried their version of the charcuterie board and wow...knocked it out of the park. Staff and service was fast and great, and the food was incredible again. Becoming one of my favorite breweries as the beer is on point, especially the hazy ipa. Overall, plan a trip here and enjoy, you won't be let down

Very good food. Was my second visit. First time they weren't pouring their own beer yet - this time they were and it was delicious. Their wings are absolutely insane.
