The Jonny ho burger is hands down my favorite, the pimento cheese is excellent. Breakfast sandwichs are the bomb too

My fiance used to brag about j-birds food all the time but we live in FM and anytime we were down in the area they were closed. Luckily, we had a chance one day to go for lunch due to jobsites being close. We have gone for almost every lunch we work over there. The burgers are AMAZING!!! I always get a pimento burger, and a side of onion rings. If i could eat this every day I would. 10/10 recommend. After just a few times, the waitresses remembered us and our orders. I love this place!

They use to be penny's place. Now they're j birds. Promptly greeted with a smile, given time to check the menu, drinks promptly brought, food order taken in decent time AND brought out hot and fresh, and beyond reasonable prices for portions.

Ok, so this place is just amazing. You got to come early, or you're not getting a seat for sure. The burgers are hand pressed and cooked to order. Fresh. The fries and tater tots are awesome. Especially with chili and cheese on them. And either be hungry or just get a single. Lol. And the waitresses are always smiling and helpful. So, don't miss out on this place cause if you do, you'll be missing some great food.

I have eaten here many times. The food is very good both breakfast and lunch. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I think their breakfast is the best deal in the East Charlotte region and their burgers are what you remember from the old days, big and juicy, and their fries are great, too.

Ever so often you find a place where you sit down and you just feel good in your bones. Owner greets everyone by name, and though this is my first time, I’m made to feel like a regular. That’s called family. A place committed to the good ol’ days. Diamond in the rough. Not to mention delicious !!!! What a value too.
