I work 3rd shift and Taxaco stays open late enough for me to grab dinner for the night. The food is always fresh. I ordered the Burrito Supremo.(Chicken) It comes w/rice or beans. The rice is so soft, fluffy and flavorful. The chicken in the burrito is also perfectly seasoned. The meal is so filling! My dinner also came with chips and salsa. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has welcoming feeling. The ambiance is great for a night out or a family gathering. Definitely a 10/10 I would recommend.

Excellent service. Full menu with many choices. Food was very flavorful with large portions. This may become our favorite Mexican restaurant. We will definitely try it again. Highly recommended.

Hard to find good Mexican food in South Charlotte but this place is a good one. Grew up in CA so had plenty of the real deal. This places comes very close. Better than any other I've tried in the area. Good food, nice friendly staff and fair prices.

Best Restaurant to ever exist and the food is sooo damn delicious and the service is great and you can not find any other food better then this in any way or form! The prices are very good too and you can not forget the lunch specials nor the drink specials daily. It is very family oriented and you will have a great time here especially for Cinco de Mayo!!

Tonight (3/16/24) ordered carryout. 1 Kid’s meal (Taco w/ beans & rice) and 1 Pancho Villa Dinner. Horrible!! Beans were like water - thin & runny. Salsa had a NO flavor. Shredded chicken in chimichanga tasted old as poultry does after sitting around for a few days. This meal was terrible! While sitting at the bar, I observed the waitress making a Margarita in the biggest glass they had and only adding one shot of Aristocrat Tequila. Someone paid $10 for one shot mixed with sour mix and a sliver of lime. Sad!! Will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food and the service is always impeccable! This location is our favorite place to eat out on the weekends. The margaritas are awesome!
