Nice local place with good selection of burgers, wraps and sandwiches. Food is good but sometimes getting it can ve slow. Worth checking out if you are not rushed. Service is friendly.

Food-- cooked inconsistently, with little regard to how individuals order. I've been here at least 10 times and it feels EVERY time there's an error in my order.
Service-- most individuals here are average or above average. Occasionally, you get an absolutely horrendous individual. Even the reviews with owner commentary lack professionalism.
Atmosphere-- it's pretty dark, loud, and the tables/booths are falling to pieces. For a reasturant in Mocksville, it's up-to-par with what one would expect.
Overall, it's an average, rural resturant.
I will say that a specific incident occurred while I was there where after my order was wrong twice, I asked twice to speak to the manager. Our waitress got the cook instead. We argued about my food, which was not why I asked for the manager. I asked for the manager as from the beginning our waitress was BEYOND disrespectful and unprofessional. After the cook came out and had left, we asked for the check. The waitress came out, threw the ticket at us, and left the table. She returned and we asked for the check, at which point the staff member said "no, it is good." I want to note our debit card was OUT and on the table at this time. We asked to speak to the manager again and was denied. We were threatened then with the police. Clearly frustrated and being told the check was covered, we attempted to walk out. We were quickly followed by the police (who were eating there) who stated we were "dining and dashing". The waitress LIED and stated she had NOT told us we were good to leave, despite having done so.
This was a terrible, horrifying experience. We asked for the manager twice and was denied both times. We asked for the check twice and was ignored the first time and then told it was good after the second. I am mortified that this is what happened.
Having seen several responses from the owner on bad reviews, I'd like to decline a response. Just. Whew.

Just happened to come across this hidden gem on the way back from Winston Salem. Food was great waitress was even better. We talked to her longer than we spent eating. Somehow I didn't get her name or I forgot it but she was awesome.

Tried a new burger called Black and Blue Burger and it was so good. My ex husband had a Bacon Jam burger and it was fabulous. My son had a Smash Burger and it was awesome. Great service and wonderful food!!
