We showed up 15 minutes prior to closing not realizing that they were closing at 2 as the website said they close at 8. We got up to leave and apologized for coming in at closing time to which the server Pam, said no no you can stay! She was super sweet.Served super fast and the food was delicious!
Truly enjoyed having a sit down breakfast there. Great meal with really down home, friendly people, both staff and patrons! Wanted to try the barbecue but none was ready that early in the morning. I will stop again the next time through!
Friendly service every time. BBQ and "dip" isn't special-- like everyone else's. Green beans aren't flavored. Hushpuppies taste pre-made/frozen. "Mesquite" chicken used on salad is chewy, as if pre-made and microwaved. For the best BBQ in the area, drove to Thomasville or High Point for BBQ Joe's, Salisbury to Smoke Pit, or Lexington to Stameys.
