The baked beans were awsome. Taters were ok. Meatloaf was very dry and did not have any smoke flavor or smell. The taste was 3 star at best. The fish and chips were little better. The fries were very gressey due to them putting fries in box first, then the cook never let greese fall off of fish just poured greese and all on top of fries. I went through 3 napkins just pulling out non greesey fries which were not many. The ones I ate were very good. They dont have a togo menu and...
If you get near this place, stop by! Great food, fair price, large portions and CHEERWINE.Amazing salad bar. Really good chili. Hamburger Steak and fried okra is very good. Prices could be a little higher and still worth the money.If I had to find some issues they would be: turn the thermostat up in the dining room, leave out the onion powder in the mac & cheese, turn the temperature up a little on the chili warmer.
My wife and I discovered this place on the way to North Wilkesboro a few months back and finally got the opportunity to stop in and try the food.The country fried steak and BBQ were simply wonderful. The Dr. Pepper float to finish it off was an added delight as well!
