We visited for the first time today and were in a bit of a hurry. The owner and his father were both there. He took his time walking g us through our tasting. Normally I am a sweet or fruit wine drinker. But oddly enough, I enjoyed most of the wines here and was pleasantly surprised. We loved the family feel of the atmosphere. You can bring pets, children and a picnic if you so choose.

We visited the Lazy Elm Vineyard yesterday. Lucky for us we were the only customers at the time. The owner gave us a detailed description of each wine at the tasting. The wines were excellent. Some we thought we would not like, to our surprise we were pleasantly pleased. So, if you are looking for a nice variety of wines (we like dry) + a semi sweet this is the place. Honestly. We’ve been to a lot of wineries, and this rates among the best!If you like sweet wines, this is not for you.Most of the grapes are grown on site and everything is created here.If you like sophisticated complex wines and a host that will walk you down the path and help you understand these wines as you enjoy them, this place is for you.It’s unpretentious - It’s all about quality wine, fun people, and a comfortable atmosphere.Chris is amazing and has built a quality brand.
