I want to take a minute and thank the waitress at the Rusty Gate Cafe for her singing and her beautiful soul she is the sweetest little thing, she was very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door all smiles and made us all feel so welcome like we were family. Felt like we had known her our entire life. The food was excellent, but that little blonde hair waitress just made our experience amazing. We didn't catch her name so please if and when someone sees this please let her know what an amazing waitress and caring soul she has and to never stop singing and letting her light shine

We passed through looking for a yummy local spot and were blessed to find the Rusty Gate!! I needed a livermush breakfast and this definitely hit the spot! The service was quick, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed our chat with the owner.

I don't post on restaurants until my second or third visit to make sure that I can endorse it wholeheartedly. So now I can highly recommend Rusty Gate Cafe. I had eggs and bacon this time too - both were perfectly done to order. On my first visit, I also had a waffle. Service was attentive but not intrusive, and coffee was kept hot. I am making this one a regular stop. I'll try the lunches there soon too. Give it a try!

Best place ever my elderly parents really enjoyed it. Our waitress was great, Didn't catch her name she was short blonde hair with glasses. She was so polite and every time i looked up from eating she was smiling. She made our trip worthwhile. We will be back!!!!
My parents and I stopped in on Thursday were always trying new places to eat. We absolutely enjoyed our food it was terrific. The lady that waited on was the sweetest. Short little thing blonde hair with glasses. My elderly parents just adored her. She was very patient with my parents. We will defiantly be back. We highly recommend this place. Thanks again!!!!!

We were there when the special was roast beef plate or open faced roast beef sandwich. The plate version had a slab that looked like a ham slicešIt was sooo tender you could cut it with a fork & the flavor was amazing.š„°The slab was over 1/4 inch thick. My husband got that 1 & I got the open faced with fries smothered in brown gravy which was just as good. They cut the beef into chunky strips. Whole meal was great! The price i guess is in keeping with this area & inflation. Y'all should give it a try at least once. Make up your mind for yourself

Sorry but nothing we wanted was available that was on the menu. Itās ok if you like greasy food. All fried potatoes no vegetables available. Would never recommend. Staff was friendly but never ask if you wanted a refill on drinks or anything. Just layed the check down and said āthanksā and walked away. Good luck folks
