Short simple review… Had the shrimp and grits. Wasn’t the best. Shrimp tasted very very shrimpy. Something else kinda left a taste in my mouth that wasn’t pleasant. Grits were kinda mediocre. I’d come back, but I’d order a different item.

Wow, a local friend suggested we meet here and I’m a fan now! We have been coming to this area for 7 yrs now and didn’t know it existed. My steak was cooked better than any steakhouse Ive ever been to. The squash was out of this world! The service and manager were also fantastic!!! I’ll be back, again and again!!

I have been eating here for years and love this establishment. It’s the best food we have in Mocksville. Today, I witnessed the most beautiful act of kindness .A local barbecue restaurant recently closed and the 101 owner held a Deano’s night and he got to greet a lot of his old customers and serve his barbecue to his loyal customer base. This kind act made a lot of people happy and was just such a loving thing to do. I hope it’s a regular thing and that she is given back all the love she shared! The food was fantastic as always, and I tried calling for two hours and finally got mine to go order. ❤️ Giving back is always the right thing to do. Thank you Lydia!!

This was our first time visiting after going to the Koren farm for pumpkin picking. The food was delicious. We ordered fried zucchini, fried onion rings, children's spaghetti, fish and chips, and two patty melt burgers with hot chips. Our waiter was Chris, and he was amazing.

I've been visiting Mocksville for years and didn't know about this little gem. I enjoyed the crab cakes and sweet potato. It's hard to do both of those, but they pulled it off. Delicious. Had a cold IPA as well. 5 stars.
