I really dnt ever like to say anything negative about places so I will say ....all workers but one guy server seemed to not want the business we waited alot for things but its such a cute place steak was very good I asked for rare and got med well unfortunately good things the rolls and brownie dessert

We had a good meal here. I do not understand the negative reviews. Long wait times is just reality during Covid. Anyway, we had a ribeye topped with mushrooms and onions, a burger, and a couple of kids Mac and cheese meals. Steak was cooked exactly as requested. The waitress we had was extremely attentive and conscientious, and the manager stopped by to ask if we were doing ok. It is not the fanciest place, and not somewhere that I would go out of the way to eat for a special occasion, but if you are in the Mocksville area or driving through and gotta have steak, this is not a bad place to land.

Tried to go to dinner at approx 0830 on a Friday night. There was a total of 6 tables being occupied. Love led like there was several servers around. We were told it would be a 15-20 min wait. There was approx 10 empty tables. Hostess seemed like it was an effort to talk to us. I cannot see this place being around too long. Went down the street to the Irish pub. What a difference. Night and day.

Very slow even when very few people were there. Servers just did not care about there jobs, very slack and slow.

Horrible!!!!!The place was empty. I sat at the bar and waiting 10 minutes for my drink. Waited 20 minutes for my appetizer. When it came out it was burnt.A man was told 30 minutes for his take out order and waited an hour. I would have told them to stick it!!! New management needed, I heard the manager or his helper arguing with the man about how long he should wait.I walked out, left a 10 on the counter. I should have left nothing.

What a great staff!! They’re under staffed and still rocking it the best they can!! Drinks are great and the food was amazing!! I own a supper club in norther Wisconsin and I’m a bad critic!! This was very good.

Very disappointed. This was one of my favorite places to go until tonight. I called 1st thing in the morning to reserve a table for 10.When we arrived we were told we were going to have to wait because they had a party at the tables they were going to use for ours. Our experience got worse from there. The service was not good at all, the food was even worse. The quality was not nearly as good as usual. Raw food, over cooked chips. Had to wait for 2 meals because the server put them in wrong. The whole experience was a disaster.

So disappointed. Never had a bad experience at a Sagebrush until tonight. Waiter started out good. He told us sorry for having to wait on rolls and then they never came. We had 3 adults and 1 child and ordered 3 salads and macaroni. Took almost 40 minutes for the salads to arrive. The chicken Caesar had a super sweet weird dressing on it, covered with soggy cold damp croutons which she had asked to be jd, and my daughter couldn't eat it. Left it untouched. My steak salad had overcooked steak that was dry and tasteless. Croutons were soggy. Macaroni was ok, other steak salad was fair. We all had water with no refills offered. Waiter had said he would bring a pitcher for refills and never came back but stood down the aisle talking to another table for the remainder of our visit. A different person got our checks for us and we had to call the our Waiter at the other end of the row talking personal business with the other customer and ask him if we could pay and leave. He offered a box for the untouched salad but never asked if anything was wrong. We were traveling and since it took 40 min to get it in the first place we didn't ask for a replacement. The business had about 4 other tables as well as us and the staff spent more time standing and talking than working. Just an unpleasant experience. Will not stop here again. Sagebrush is normally a family favorite, but we will find other choices when we travel back and forth to Boone going forward.

Sides are disgusting! No flavor at all, Main dishes So-So. Place is run by poor management. Parking lot looks like a dump crooked signage and all. (HUGE POTHOLE at driveway entrance!!) If owner cares at all about future of restaurant, needs to fire the current manager, fire the line cooks, retrain front end serving staff and start over, until that courageous decision is made, Go to Logan’s in Statesville! It’s worth the 20 minute drive. Sagebrush Mocksville needs a Bar Rescue style overhaul. And fill the one foot deep pothole it your front entrance!’

Our waitress was so wonderful. I felt so bad for her, she was basically waiting on the whole restaurant running around trying to get everything done. it looked like the place was very poorly managed. The building and booths were tore up. The food was good but portion sizes were smaller than I expected for the price. Not sure if we will go back.

Took my wife to sagebrush tonight. Got seated then completely abandoned. Waited twenty minutes while everyone around us who were seated after us had drinks and had made their orders. Finally just got up and left and won’t be back.

Wow is all I can say about this place. I ordered the "new york strip steak" along with the ribs. My meal came with 2 sides to include a salad and fried okra. The best part about my meal was the salad if that says anything. The steak was definitely not a new york strip and definitely needed a ton of salt as it was not seasoned.....at all. For my family of 3 with tip I wasted $74. We will not return and its a shame because our son goes to college in this area so it's not like we won't be back up here.

Very good place to eat and very nice service too

Great place to go inside and sit down and eat dinner. The help makes the place to feel like a home, family.

Food was good. We had a party of ten and half of us were done eating before waitress brought the other half's meals, and my granddaughters cheeseburger still had plastic wrap on the cheese. Brought out second drinks for three will just bring first drinks for other two adults. So even though most of the food was good, service sucked.
