i love bruster's. it's my family tradition that we get ice cream cakes from here for our birthdays. however, idk if i'll be back because every time i come pick out a cake, i leave disappointed.the cake is SO good, but the service is AWFUL. when i come, i always pick out one of their premade cakes in the freezer, which you'd think would make the service easier, but it's actually where it goes sour.i understand that writing on a cake can be hard for someone inexperienced; but i also feel like if you're going to offer writing, at least make it look somewhat good? or maybe hire someone who can write on cakes? THEY asked me if i wanted something written, but perhaps i was the fool to say yes.today, i waited almost 20 minutes to get less-than-mediocre writing that's not even centered. a whole family that stood there looking at the menu for what seemed like hours, tried multiple flavors of ice cream, and had screaming kids got their orders before someone could write "happy birthday" on a cake. this instance today isn't even the worse, i've had worse writing from this location where i waited over 45 minutes for.i'm pretty sure i could've done better myself.

Ice cream (pumpkin spice is decent)BLAST is awful. Blizzard is 100x better. They literally have the laziest ice cream, they just have vanilla with candy dumped on top, no mixing and or multiple flavors.

Used to love going to this place but not anymore. They raised their prices which is understandable given how expensive everything has gotten but their quality has really slipped too. It is hard to justify the added expensive if you cannot get something at least somewhat equivalent to pre COVID standards. I got a cookie dough ice cream in a waffle cone that was two scoops of ice cream. Would you like to know how many cookie dough pieces I got? Three. Not three per scoop, but three in the entire cone! I actually forgot I was eating cookie dough ice cream until I hit the first one about half way down the cone. I get that every scoop cannot be filled with cookie dough, but I have noticed for a while now the cookie dough is less and less in the cones. Maybe you should consider not selling it if it is too expensive to produce and go with an option that is not a major disappointment to your customers.
Arrived at window tonight at 952pm (Sat Jul 22)Already closing/cleaning up.3 of them looked at us and made no move to open a window. Small order, 2 scoops.1. False advertising -supposed to open until 10pm2. Took our business to Sweet Frog.

I ordered a banana split. I asked for a different Icecream instead of the strawberry and chocolate ice-cream. I asked for no pineapple, I didn't make this difficult.. But for some reason the girl who took my order didn't have a clue at what was going on and the girl who made my order had to make it twice and still messed it up.. Very disappointed seeing how it's ice-cream.. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the ice-cream is great but can you please train the young children who work here how to make a ice-cream sunday and listen to the things that the clients do want and don't want in their orders so a you don't have to waste food by throwing it out when they screw it up the first time and you would avoid a two-star review if the kids there just knew how to listen to instructions and write it down on a pad of paper and make what they write down

We were all silly enough to walk up as we all watch the drive through orders keep rolling through.... Big hint, do NOT walk up, if you have to order here do the drive up.

Total chaos, mismanaged, poor training (mismanaged), poor handling of orders, over charging our order that common sense should have caused notice, orders for the same family coming out 5, 10, even 15 minutes apart. Among the 20+ customers all waiting all we're complaining. Good ice cream but not worth it. It took an hour to get 3 cones and a dish. I rarely submit a public negative but after giving them a private message, they failed to reply.
