Duke Grill is hands down my favorite spot for burgers in the area! Open since 1951, it feels like stepping back in time the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and full of old-school charm.
Be prepared to wait during busy times since seating is limited, but it’s well worth it. The food is always fresh, hot, and made to order, and you can taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the staff is always friendly and courteous, which makes the experience even better.

Classic American grill. Everything is perfect. Enjoyed the bacon egg and cheese sandwich this morning with coffee. Very reasonable prices, quick service and quality food. The bacon was spilling out of both ends heavily.
I have been wanting to go to Dukes for years and I am stoked to say that I finally had the opportunity. These folks nail the basics on what made a burger great and do everything right. You can tell they really care about the food and their customers. They are proud of their food and it shows through their strong execution and meticulously thoughtful ingredients.

My Parents and I was very disappointed in the meal we had this time at Duke’s Grill in Monroe NC. We are from Monroe and we have eaten at Duke’s all our lives. The quality of the food has gone down since Duke and Dennis is not there anymore. The hamburgers used to melt in your mouth and now they are tough and chewy. The fries and the onion rings were mushy like they were not cooked all the way. It’s really sad after all these years that the prices have gone up and the quality is down.
