I discovered this place by accident, decided to stop and am so glad I did. The owner was courteous, and my huevos rancheros salsa was rich with some kick. Great little Mexican restaurant in the heart of Monroe outside of Charlotte.
El Texano is located at Five Points' intersection in Monroe. The restaurant is small inside with booths and tables along with sitting outside. I went there with a co-worker for lunch. We sat down and were greeted by the waitress who took our drink orders and also served us chips and salsa. We ordered the guacamole dip. It was absolutely made to perfection. It was freshly cut up avocado with chopped onions and diced tomatoes served with chips, delicious! I had beef burrito...
I eat here just about every week on my lunch break, this is my favorite mexican food spot and i'm literally getting my food in the restaraunt as we speak!!
I really recommend their ground beef sopes they are to DIE FOR!!!!!
