I love fried chicken ever since college in Alabama. Recently I moved to Chicago and to my dismay found out: Chicago knows nothing about fried chicken. So, when visiting friends in the Charlotte area, I asked them to take me to a fried chicken place. Hathaway's blew my mind! Their fried chicken is DIVINE!!! I was so happy to finally taste some fried chicken goodness again. I returned a 2nd time, just before going to the airport. I wish I could order shipping from them! I'll be back, on my next visit.

We enjoyed a late lunch on a Sunday of fried chicken and sides. In my personal opinion, this spot has the best home country cooking in Monroe. If you try it once, you'll be back for more! Friendly staff! Be sure to try the banana pudding. It's top tier.

It's always great food without breaking the bank. The last time we got 5 meals and an extra side gizzards and livers for around $65.

I sure will them young girls don't have any respect my first and last time coming.Order the food by phone sit n there about 20mins no one. Asked me can they help me they all 3 laughing while I'm sitting waiting on my food.So is call my husband he said I've been call.3 customers just was walking in getting there food not one time and of them girls ask can they help me or say something iv never came inside of this place now I see why they need to be more friendly with the customers

Wow, did they sale this place to new owners. Me and the wife loved this place. We moved to Maryland for 8 years and moved back recently. I went there and couldn’t believe how bad the chicken was. No flavor, dry and hard as a rock. What have they done to my favorite chicken spot. A friend told me they wasn’t the same and he stop eating there. But I had to see for myself. Please find the owner from 10 years ago we need you.

I ordered the business man lunch white meat. ps extra for white meat, and got a tiny breast and a tiny wing. macaroni not ok. wouldn't recommend.
