I love fried chicken ever since college in Alabama. Recently I moved to Chicago and to my dismay found out: Chicago knows nothing about fried chicken. We enjoyed a late lunch on a Sunday of fried chicken and sides. In my personal opinion, this spot has the best home country cooking in Monroe. If you try it once, you'll be back for more! Friendly staff! Be sure to try the banana pudding. It's top tier.
Hathway chicken and pork chop is good, but their green beans are not good. Green beans are pour straight out of a can with no kind of season not even salt and pepper. They cream potatoes are not good either and fried okra are to hard.
